Dear Dad,
This year for Father's Day, I thought I'd send you this letter to let you know how I feel. I know I may not often
tell you how much I love you, but I want you to know I love you very much and that you mean the
world to me. You held my hand when I was just a child, you taught me values, protected me, loved
me and showed me how much you cared. You guided me with your wisdom and taught me right from wrong.
When I had done wrong, you loved me anyhow. You taught me to reach for the stars and that no
dream is too big if you take things one step at a time. You gave me confidence in myself
with your encouragement. You showed me patience, even when I know I must have pushed you to your
limits. You taught me to respect others and to always be truthful. You have given me everything
that makes me who I am, and for this I am very thankful. And though I usually forget to tell you
until Father's Day rolls around, I want you to know that I love you every single day of the year
with all my heart. Happy Father's Day Dad!
Love Always,
Your Daughter
