Internet Addict

The symtoms are obvious, but not to you.
Other's can see it, but what can they do?
They sit and they watch you, pecking away.
Oblivious to whether it's night or it's day.

You sit all day long, then you sit through the night.
If you looked in the mirror, you'd see such a fright!
Your poor eyeballs bugging, right out of your head,
And "Oh my God!" they are ten shades of red!

And your hair you haven't combed all day long,
Or maybe it's weeks now, who knows how long?
It's knotted and tangled, it's standing on end,
Even Frankenstein looks better, my friend!

How about that laundry that's piled to the sky?
Or the load you hung out 'bout a month ago to dry?
You were wishing a fairy would do it I bet.
While you surfed all day long on the internet.

Oh by the way, have you seen what you're wearing?!!
And your legs, why, I never saw anything so hairy!
How could you let things turn out this way?
Just punching and pushing those buttons all day?

"I'll be done in a minute." You tell everyone.
But just when will this minute EVER come?
Please heed this warning, I give you my friend.
An internet junkie, is no way to live!
